The study of transparency is an ongoing study of see-through mediums and techniques. Transparency is often used as a tool to disguise something that should be hidden. Opened chef rooms in restaurants, glass walls, transparent clothes look beautiful but they also act as a panopticon through which neoliberal ideas get internalized.
Through transparent materials and techniques, I aim to put myself in a position where I have to constantly control myself so that the viewer of the painting or a work would always be able to see if I make a mistake.
